Job Title: Commercial Administrator

Company (Location): Blackwood Engineering Ltd (Oakdale)

Reports to: Commercial Manager

Role type: Full-time, permanent, 39 hours/week

Key Purpose of the Role:

The Commercial Administrator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of administrative processes to support the day to day running of a busy commercial office and the Commercial Team. This includes, but is not limited to, administration of contractual documentation and correspondence, management of data, maintenance of contract trackers, preparation of reports, and contractual archiving. Attention to detail important.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as a member of the Commercial Team by maintaining administrative processes and procedures to support the department. Tasks include but are not limited to:-

· Maintenance of the CRM and ERP systems, as well as trackers in Excel

· Document and Data management

· Preparing of Cost Analysis

· Preparing of quotations

· Indexation Trackers

· Miscellaneous Quotations

· Customer Mapping

· Order Entry

· Customer Prospecting

· Act as a focal point of contact for the Commercial Team to receive, create and distribute incoming enquiries to the Commercial Account Managers.

· Assist with all manner of cost recovery including Shipping Surcharges, Excess Stock, Tooling Modifications

· Assisting the marketing department with TV Screens Project, Data Analytics, Social Media, Website, etc. as required.

· Create weekly sales reports, forecast and tonnage (requires a few hours every Friday)

· Shipping contract/market split – monthly

· Live Cost of sales – keeping the inputs up to date

· Margin forecast

Experience & Knowledge:

Essential: Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams

Desirable: Previous use of CRM or ERP system, Experience of working in a dynamic office environment. Content writing. Exposure to commercial work experience.

Skills:

· Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal

· Numerically astute

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels through different mediums

· A high degree of personal initiative, responsibility and commitment, coupled with integrity and enthusiasm

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

· Ability to cope with urgency, pressure of work, prioritising and to remain flexible within a rapidly changing environment

Starting Salary:

£24,762 – £26,500 (Dependent on experience)

Proposed Start Date:

We propose a July or August start date, but can be flexible to ensure we find the right candidate. September would be the latest start date possible to enable us to carry out initial training.
